began to learn the guitar at the age of 15 before following studies in guitar-jazz and in harmony at the Centre d'Informations Musicales (CIM) in Paris. After this, he joined guitar-workshop courses led by

.
In Brittany, he joined various groups -- in a trio with
Alain BERNARD
and
Philippe BRIAND
, in a quartet with
Laurent DROUET
and
Les p'tits roberts
, and in a duo with
Jean-Michel CAZORLA
. In addition, he took part in the creation of
Pokes de criée
and the trio
KEJ
. In 1999, he joined the
TAN B'AN TY
group, who play at the festou-noz.
